Award travel to Hawaii

Award travel to Hawaii

  1. Anonymous Guest

I am planning a trip to Hawaii and was considering using miles. I have ~800K and normally would not consider using it for domestic.

Should I pay coach, upgrade using miles or just see if award seats are available?

    ITIN looks like this:

    AUS-OGG 04/12
    OGG-LIH 04/19
    LIH-AUS 04/26

Any suggestions? I would prefer to fly the 763 or the bigger planes on the long flight. Thanks for your help and always enjoy reading the travel news.

    Thanks!

Hello Fellow Travelers. We are in need of help trying to book business or first class seats from BOS/MHT to KOA/HNL for 4 Adults on August 18-28th. We would like to visit both the Big Island and Oahu during the trip. I can get 4 economy tickets for 320,000 points but would love to travel a better class of service since it is such a long haul. We currently have 380,000 AA points and 140,000 SWA Points (haha…yes I know only one class of service with them.). Any help is appreciated.

Thank you for the link! After reading it – I have come to the same conclusion that it is a pain 😉

I will buy Economy and cross my fingers on an UPG which I feel is not very likely. Thanks for the help. Much appreciated.

Tuan–if you are paying cash you might consider the AS credit card that gives you a voucher for a second ticket for $99+taxes. Might be worthwhile depending on published fares.

    Gaurav,

Not sure what the AS credit card is. Can you explain?
    Thx
