Award Availability in a Full Calendar Month

Award Availability in a Full Calendar Month

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Ben,

How can I see award availability in a full calendar month or Singapore Air, Lufthansa, Asiana, Korean, Japan Air Lines, or ANA? I am planning a trip to Asia in March 2019 and think that I have enough time to book 2 award first class tickets and 1 business class, but the airlines only show 2-3 days and it becomes time consuming. I appreciate you answer.

With JAL you could search on QF or AS’s website to see it display as a month. However, there’s no way to filter it out to show ONLY JAL availability so you’d also be seeing Emirates and their other partners. KE awards will also show on Alaska’s website as well, though I’ve only ever seen business awards there, never first.

United’s website will show a month at a time for Lufthansa, Asiana and ANA, but again, it’ll also show availability for other UA partners with no way to select only the airlines you want.

KE and SQ restrict most of their premium cabin awards to their own programs only and their respective websites is the only place to find awards.

Alternatively, you could pay a service, like PointsPros to do the work for you and/or pay for an ExpertFlyer membership to set alerts for award space on the flights you’re interested in.
