AS award routing rules?
Hi there,
I’m wondering if AS has some routing rules for award ticket or not?
Because I’m going to San Diego this summer. It would be very nice that I could have a stopover at Boston (PEK-BOS: HU; BOS-SAN: AS)
I’m not sure if there is a MPM rule. I just tried their website and had some routes like: PEK-SEA-SAN, PEK-SJC-SAN, even PEK-SJC-PDX-SAN. I guess BOS is far from the west coast.
Anyway, what is your opinion? Should I call them? Btw, how long can I hold an AS award ticket?
Thanks a lot,
Anqi
Did you try the multi-city tool? Alaska’s routing rules are a bit incomprehensible, so it’s hard to say what is and isn’t allowed.
You can’t hold tickets at all, unfortunately.
