Am unable to book reward flight on US Airways via British Airways. BA says no dice?

I am trying to book a reward flight on US Airways via British Airways. However, I am unable to book the flight because British Airways can only book US Airway flights. Now that US Airways is American they are unable to book it. I tried calling them and no dice. Do you know anything about this?

@ allison — Why are they saying it can’t be booked? It should still be possible if there’s award space.
