Alaska reward redemptions from USA to India next month

Alaska reward redemptions from USA to India next month

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hi all,

I am looking to go to India (MAA) next month (from either SF Bay Area or DFW), and I was hoping to use miles (for the first time!) to either defray the cost or get a premium class. I saw the post about Alaska’s mileage sale, and was wondering if it makes sense to purchase miles and redeem them. On AS’ website, I can only find EK redemptions with long layovers (my dates are slightly inflexible, can’t leave before 12/17 and must return before 1/9). I know AS miles apparently redeem on many airlines (like CX right?), but I can’t figure out how many miles a CX trip will cost, and what the award availability is. Would you guys be able to help?

    Thank you!

Using AS miles on CX, you are looking at the following for US – India, one way:
    Biz: 62,500
    First: 70,000
For CX & LAN you will have to call the AS reservation number.
