Aeroplan’s new system?
Hi all, booked an award ticket today on Aeroplan, and I was told they’re getting a new system next month. Historically, I’ve had to search segment by segment to find availability on good flights/ airlines/ times then call to book since I couldn’t do it directly online as what they spit out is usually not good. The rep says that next month, whatever the computer gives you is what you’ll be allowed to book, so it sounds like they won’t be able to build itineraries over the phone anymore. Does anyone know what she was on about? A bit concerning since if they don’t change their search parameters, the itineraries will be garbage.
