AC blocks all UA award seats over 330 days out – any workaround?

echino DiamondI posted on flyertalk about it with screenshots. Aeroplan blocks all UA award seats if the flight date is more than 330 days out, while other A* programs have no problem booking those seats. By the time the date moves within 330 days, all high demand seats are gone. I tried calling, but Aeroplan agent was unable to book those seats. Is there any workaround booking those seats with Aeroplan?
