So I’m sitting with 100 K+ Aadvantage miles needing a return ticket from Europe in mid September.I was able to find a business saver award in late Jan for our departure flight. Using Expert Flyer AA doesn’t seem to have any saver awards available at any level the rest of this year (imagine that!) Do some of you veteran posters expect AA to release some seats once the required award mileage has increased?

I don’t think it has anything to do with the award prices, honestly. 3-6 months out is the worst time for booking award travel. While something will probably open up eventually, it won’t necessarily be related to the price increase.

In the meantime, I’d look for a more creative routing so you can lock [I]something[/I] in at least!

I found 4 Business Saver seats on EF yesterday for 8 Sept from FCO to JFK on AA. Don’t give up – usually something is out there…..
