AA Blocking BA award on AA?
Hello,
I’m trying to book some award tickets on JFK-BOS in January 2017. However, when I do some searches on ba.com, I can only find LGA-BOS. On AA.com, I can find tons of availability on JFK-BOS on many flights.
Is this new or normal?
Thanks
LGA-BOS has to be priced at 7500 AA miles for BA to see the space. Higher than that and it’s not considered saver award space, meaning BA has no access to it. If you are seeing seats priced at 7500 miles and BA cant see it, then I’d call BA. Might be a glitch.
If there is space available at the saver level on aa.com, you’ll need to call BA: http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2014/08/12/what-to-do-when-american-award-flights-dont-display-on-british-airways-site/
