AA award ticket status
Hi. I have an award ticket that I booked for my spouse close to four weeks ago that is still showing On Request (my mile balance has no been debited yet). I understand that more recently the ticketing queue can be rather long so I have been waiting patiently. I am also aware that the further away the departure date is the longer it can be. We fly out in June 2016. That said, the ticket I booked for myself ticketed within 48 hours. We are on separate reservations though on the same flight.
I called after 10 days and AA said not to worry, but almost 3 weeks since then and I am still waiting. Should I push AA for an answer or is this the new normal?
@Cal — I would call once to make sure everything is set up correctly for ticketing, but otherwise there’s nothing you can do but wait. It’s annoying.
