AA award prices??

I am looking at flights from NYC to Sydney and I am seeing RT award prices at 750K miles (!!!!!!!!) even though the award chart says the Anytime Level 2 is 195K each way. Did they change their award pricing? This Delta-level pricing is insane.

It’s dynamic award pricing. Check it daily. It may go up… It may go down.

They assume you’ll want the seat bad enough to actually pay for it.
