AA award: at LAX can my intl. layover be up to 24 hours or is it only up to 4 hours?
Hey Lucky,
I’m flying on an AA award from HKG-NRT-LAX in first on JAL. My plans have changed slightly and I want to add a flight from LAX-JFK at the tail end of the award. i know I have to pay the $150 change fee but that’s cheaper than buying that flight anyway and I’d get to go in AA’s new A321 first. Anyways, my question is this: at LAX can my layover be up to 24 hours or is it only up to 4 hours? I’m not sure what the rules are when arriving internationally. Thanks!
@ Rob — Up to 24 hours should be fine.
