Oy: Influencer Turns Airplane Aisle Into Yoga Studio, Annoys Everyone

Folks, it’s fantastic to have hobbies, but it’s also important to understand there’s a time and place for those, and to be self-aware enough to know when you’re inconveniencing others. Along those lines, here’s the latest (and one of the most egregious) examples of someone doing yoga on a plane.

Influencer does insane moves in airplane aisles

A social media user named rosa.adventures took to both Instagram and TikTok to share a video of her doing yoga (and other things) in the narrow aisle of an aircraft. She captions the short video with the following:

Proof that my training is paying off. Whether I’m on land or 35,000 feet in the air, I can still go upside down, balance on one leg, and move my body with confidence!! Your body carries enough. Let it move.

I’m about as flexible as a steel rod, so I can’t even describe the moves she’s doing. Don’t get me wrong, they’re impressive, no doubt, and good on her for the extent to which she has trained herself. However…

This is reckless, inconsiderate, and attention seeking

Let’s start with the biggest issue here — this is just incredibly dangerous, and not just to her, but also to those around her. It’s really lovely to “balance on one leg, and move [your] body with confidence,” but are you trained to do that in the event that the plane hits an air pocket, and you suddenly go flying against the ceiling?

Guys, this isn’t the aisle of a private jet, or of some super spacious cabin (where I’d still find this to be ridiculous, but…). Instead, it’s the very tight back of the cabin of an Iberia Express Airbus A320-family aircraft. People are camped in there like sardines, and you can see the looks she’s getting. Most horrifying to me is that there’s a lap infant seated exactly where she is doing this yoga (on the right), so imagine if she accidentally rammed into the baby. If someone wants to endanger their own safety, whatever. But to do that to others without their consent is selfish, at best.

Then there’s of course the obnoxious influencer element to this. Do you really value movement on a plane, and insist on doing yoga? Fine… well, no, not fine, but let’s pretend it is fine for a moment. If this is such an authentic activity for you, you’re really going to take the time to set up a tripod, record yourself, and then remove it again? I can’t imagine that this lasted for more than 30 seconds before the crew promptly told her to immediately cease this behavior.

While I find this to be among the more egregious examples of “working out” onboard a plane, it’s certainly not the first or last time we’ll see this. For example, in late 2025, Diplo took to social media to show himself doing yoga in Emirates first class.

Bottom line

Exercise and movement are great, but there’s a time and place for everything. The crowded aisle of a narrow body plane right next to a lap infant is absolutely not the place to do a handstand, and to kick your foot back and forth, within inches of the faces of others.

It’s dismaying how little consideration people have for others, both in terms of looking out for their safety, and in terms of recognizing that just because we enjoy something, doesn’t mean that others will as well. I guess some people just can’t survive without attention… and I guess I’m guilty by giving them that, by writing about this?

Does anyone not find inflight yoga like this to be dangerous and inconsiderate?

Please just stop calling them 'influencers' they are jobless idiots who think the world revolves around them. There is no benefits to society in their position. If they were to disappear tomorrow, no one would lose any benefits.

First time seeing Diplo's post. This is why my wife wipes down all surfaces before a flight.

I came out of the shower at LA Fitness last month, & 3 guys had set up a 4-foot tripod & were recording a video! I let the club manager deal with it.

creating content should be banned onboard all flights

annoying influencers should be fined upon arrival and banned from flying again

  5. Kaneesha Johnson Washington Guest

I would have loved to see her in on a Flight in India. She would have been Gang Raped by just about every passenger.

Why didn't the FA stop this? Absolutely ridiculous.

  7. Lieflat19 Diamond

LUCKY, why are you posting this person's social media?! You are just fanning the flames and giving them way more views than they should get! This is the second time in about a week you have done this. Stupid!

And if I was a passenger and her BIG ASS was in my face (or worse, her stinky feet), you can bet I would have pushed her over out of my way.

Lastly, where were the flight attendants in all of this?!

    1. Thomas Guest

Because Ben has run out of quality content and can only post shit like this to get clicks. Content has been on a steady decline in quality over the last year or more.

The vlog has long lost it's purpose. He's got a family now, doesn't "live in hotels" anymore nor travels around as much. But he can't/doesn't want to do a normal job so this will need to get milked with bullshit content until the reader numbers drop so low it's not worth running this site anymore. Direction is inevitable and clear to see.

I say that as a reader since year 1 way way way back when

Disgraceful and likewise deeply sickening and simulatenoudly deeply upsetting! I would sacked the guy square in his liddle nuts when he cartwheeled past me. That would be the last time he would step outta line in my presence!

I'm surprised how no one commented on the boobs and the fact that boobs is the photo header of the article (at least on a desktop browser).

The fact that the video has over 5000 "likes" is why people continue creating annoying content like this.

Why is this even a thing? I detest this look at me culture, all for doing nothing useful.

The day these self-promoting narcissists start to invade AF LP, SQ F Suites, CX F or BA F, will be the day we either stop flying altogether or only fly PJ.

After thought …. or AOP-6 when she arrives at her new home and is reassembled.

Just how long was this Iberia Express flight that she had a need to do her routine before she landed?

Attention seeking idiots. If they are videoing, cabin crew should make them delete it.

Bullies perform a useful societal function, and we're paying the price for working to exterminate them.

"This is reckless, inconsiderate, and attention seeking"

And you rewarded her with a blog post, i.e. attention. Well done, Ben. I'm sure with your virtual finger wagging, complete with a direct link to her Instagram post, she has truly learned her lesson and won't do something like this again.

If this attention seeking individual could do something similar in one of the tiny toilets, then I would be impressed.

Another loser that thinks an airplane and an airport is a yoga studio, a drunk tank, a drug den, an insane asylum or homeless shelter.

No respect for those around them.
