We recently saw the launch of the Atmos™ Rewards Summit Visa Infinite® Credit Card (review), which is incredibly compelling. There are many perks to the card, and one of those is access to an elevated bar program in Alaska Lounges.
While hardly one of the primary reasons to consider applying for the card, the airline has just revealed the details of how this program works, as I know it’s something that some people have been curious about…
In this post:
Alaska unveils Summit Sunset signature cocktail
The Atmos Rewards Summit Card offers up to eight Alaska Lounge passes per year (two per quarter). The airline takes the lounge perks a step further, by offering an elevated bar program, intended to be a unique experience for cardholders. This is now live at all three Alaska Lounges in Seattle (SEA), and will be expanded to all Alaska Lounges in October 2025.
This selection is complimentary for those who have the card, and they simply need to present their card (a physical card or digital wallet) to the bartender in order to enjoy this benefit. If the cardholder is accessing the lounge with a companion, the companion can also enjoy the complimentary elevated bar selection.
The new signature cocktail is called the Summit Sunset, and it’s a Woodford Reserve Bourbon-based cocktail, designed in partnership with professional mixologists. It’s only available to those with the card and their guests, so others accessing the lounge can’t even pay for it.
There are also other premium drinks to choose from, ranging from other cocktail creations, to mocktails, like the Citrus Bloom and Spiced Mule. Lounge guests who don’t have an eligible card can pay $9 for premium cocktails, or $7 for premium non-alcoholic drinks.

For now this special program is available to cardmembers through 2026, though it could be extended beyond that.
This is cute, but not the reason to get the card
I’m covering the elevated bar program because we’ve known this would be introduced, but didn’t have the details, so it’s good to know what this entails.
I’d view this as a nice additional perk, but not as a primary reason to pick up the Atmos Rewards Summit Card. Instead, you’ll want to get this $395 annual fee card for all of the great perks it offers, ranging from an annual Global Companion Award, to the ability to earn status points, to 3x points on all foreign purchases, to eight annual Alaska Lounge passes, to eight annual Alaska inflight Wi-Fi passes, and more.
It’s really easy to make the math on this card work, and the huge welcome bonus is the icing on the cake.
Bottom line
The Atmos Rewards Summit Card provides access to a special elevated bar program in Alaska Lounges. Cardmembers and their guests can enjoy a complimentary premium drink, with a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. In particular, the Summit Sunset is the signature drink, and it’s a Woodford Reserve Bourbon-based cocktail.
If you’re a cardmember, you can start enjoying this effective immediately in Seattle, and at other lounge locations as of October.
Maybe a lotta those cards are being pilfered for ID/credit theft !
You'd think it be in BofA's best interest to expedite every new card to facilitate getting those charges racked up !
Ben I just got the card and tried to book a flight using Atmos points but the partner award booking fee was still being applied. Is this benefit not live yet?
The "Summit Sunset Cocktail" will not make up for the fact that Delta has superior lounges (including a Delta One Lounge) in SEA.
Delta also has superior lines to get into those lounges. Upscale for sure.
I waited a week for the card to ship, was not happy with delay. Wanted to test foreign transactions at 3.3 points per USD as I have a BoA account.
Called BoA and they sent one UPS overnight.
I should have done this waiting and waiting
I wonder what else this might include - SEA has some premium alcohols like Clase Azul, etc.
"Plus, through 2026, cardholders visiting the Alaska Lounge receive access to an all-new premium bar experience when they show their Summit Card – including elevated wines, signature cocktails and exclusive curations, just for cardholders."
Everyone is always elevating things lately. I’m short - stop making me get the ladder out for everything! :P
Well, we are talking about airlines after all and they're known to 'climb' ....
... lol
How about an article about how long it takes CC companies to ship you your new card. Cause BOA SUCKS...
I received my Atmos Summit card 4 business days after I applied for it.
Well, today is two weeks for me so... I'd be nice if they expedited the shipping like other premium CC companies.
You should call BoA and have them overnight you the card
Signed up on 8/20 and got mine yesterday 9/3. Not ideal but happy to have it.
ditto on 8/20 and 9/3. BOA has issues (makes me nervous to put spend on the card too; i don't really trust that they'll have my back like Amex does when there's an issue with a purchase).
