Transfer Chase Points To Wyndham Rewards With 30% Bonus: Worth It?

Transfer Chase Points To Wyndham Rewards With 30% Bonus: Worth It?

Chase Ultimate Rewards has just launched a new transfer bonus to Wyndham Rewards, which also happens to be the program’s newest transfer partner. While some transfer bonus is better than no transfer bonus, this still isn’t an offer I’d recommend taking advantage of.

Chase offering 30% bonus on Wyndham points transfers

Between March 5 and March 31, 2026, you can receive a 30% bonus when you transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Wyndham Rewards.

Transfer Chase points to Wyndham with a 30% bonus

Points ordinarily transfer at a 1,000:1,000 ratio, so with this offer, points transfer at a 1,000:1,300 ratio. You can take advantage of this an unlimited number of times. Transfers from Chase Ultimate Rewards to Wyndham Rewards are typically instant.

This is the first time that we’ve seen a transfer bonus between the two programs, but presumably that’s just because Wyndham Rewards was added as a transfer partner in February 2026, so this is still a new addition. I suspect this will be the first of many transfer bonuses between the programs.

Chase Ultimate Rewards is one of three major transferable points currencies to partner with Wyndham Rewards. Capital One and Citi ThankYou are also 1:1 transfer partners with the program.

Please don’t transfer Chase points to Wyndham, though

While it’s always nice to see more partners for the major transferable points currencies, as well as transfer bonuses, this is an offer I wouldn’t recommend taking advantage of.

On the most basic level, I value Wyndham Rewards points at around 0.7 cents each. So even with a 30% transfer bonus, you’re only getting around 0.9 cents of value per Ultimate Rewards point, by my valuation. As a point of comparison, I value World of Hyatt points at 1.5 cents each, and both are 1:1 transfer partners with Chase Ultimate Rewards, so that’s a much better option.

So this isn’t a dig at how Wyndham doesn’t have a great luxury portfolio, but instead, this just isn’t a program where a 1:1 transfer ever makes sense (even if there’s a significant transfer bonus). This seems like a program where a 1:2 ratio would be more appropriate, but that’s unfortunately not what we’ve seen with any transferable points currency up until now.

For what it’s worth, Wyndham Rewards properties generally cost either 7,500 points, 15,000 points, or 30,000 points, for a free night award.

I’m not suggesting that there are no situations where you’ll be able to get outsized value by moving points. Instead, my point is that you’ll likely come out ahead if you use your Ultimate Rewards points in other ways, and just outright buy Wyndham Rewards points, if the value is that good.

There’s not much upside with this partnership, in my opinion

Bottom line

Chase Ultimate Rewards is offering a new transfer bonus, as you can get a 30% bonus when you transfer points to Wyndham Rewards. While I’m always happy to see a transfer bonus, I’m afraid that this simply isn’t worth it under virtually all circumstances.

Transfers to all of Chase’s partners are typically at a 1:1 ratio. While the simplicity of that is nice, the reality is that points have significantly different values, and this creates a few partners that I would almost never recommend transferring Chase points to.

Anyone have a different take, and see a reason to transfer Chase points to Wyndham?
