Technically, Delta One lounges are more generous for access than Polaris now.
Because partner connections get access at any point in your journey, whereas United blocks partner connections beyond the departing airport.

Ahhhh....DEN still being treated as the bastard child. They have renovated Polaris lounges at other places and DEN is still waiting for one.
Agree. Even when I'm qualified to enter, I prefer going to a different lounge.
LOL how do you keep all the rules straight? I know you guys that fly all the time would have a routine so it's not an issue. I would just fly an another airline with better easier options. Just my opinion, I don't fly much anymore cuz it's crazy but when I do I go First Class
Ben.- I'm writing from Polaris lounge at ORD, coming from DFW on UA and connecting to MUC on LH
Scanned my LH boarding pass to MUC in front of the lounge agent and no issues.
You may want to confirm that info regarding connecting itineraries and Polaris access, I do connect UA/LH at ORD 3-4 times a year and never had issues getting into the lounge
I'm a fan of the Polaris at EWR; they recently added a dinning area akin to Delta's Brassiere at JFK; the sleeping area and showers are also excellent. Great views of the NYC skyline, too. Glad to see UA is adding access for premium transcon routes.
Do you think it was an oversight by United to not breakdown ITA's fare classes to Base & Flex like they did for LH, Austrian and Brussels? Or perhaps they are simply lumping all ITA fare classes into "business" and giving lounge access regardless of what you booked.
