It's disappointing that after the recent changes, many restaurants offer only 10% in cashback. Enjoyed it while it lasted, but it seems inkind is slowly dying and will be gone soon.

You nailed it. We used it at Bravo and Smokey Bones but not any more. I think the InKind model of buying restaurant credit at a large discount is only attractive to struggling chains, which describes these two.

The bonuses have worked well. The only downside of any of the credits is that they expire fairly quickly (2mo). I think that's how they make their model work, is assuming a certain amount of breakage. With the somewhat limited number of locations even in larger cities, it's hard to hit one enough to maximize it.
Unlike other credits where I always make sure I use them to justify the card's annual fee (e.g., Resy), at least this one, if not used, doesn't realy cost me anything either.
Costco always has InKind gift cards on sale for about 35% off too.

We LOVE inKind and have used it often whether we're in town or not. We've saved well over $1000 since we started and, on top of that, it's more secure as you aren't handing your credit card for a waiter to take away.
