Imagine how much worse the big 3 would be if it were not for Southwest airlines being an option. I dont fly WN that much but i am very thankful for what they have done for travel.

Southwest: WE VALUE DIVERSITY!!

Also Southwest: We need a new CEO? Just send in a generic sixty-year-old straight white male.

People trying to make this into a race issue. I'm positive that race had 0% in deciding their CEO.
Why not bring up gender?

So according to some morons here, we need a CEO who is BIPOC, LGBTQ+, single parent, non-Christian, veteran, with disability, and have an ESA panda.

My only 2 questions is how long would it take Chase to replace GARRY KELLY in all their ads, and how will they spell Mr. Jordan. BOB or ROBERT?

I find it interesting that Gary's achievement he is most proud of is, no layoffs. Umm, how about asking field marketing and the Res centers that he closed?

It’s disheartening to hear Gary Kelly say there has been no lay off at SWA. While yes, SWA has not gotten rid of full time “permanent” employees, they did let go of over 300 contractor “temps”. They typically hire long term temps, yearly up to 3 years. So to keep their reputation from being tainted they let go of contractors. But the thing is, they were never transparent with them. Lying to them, saying they had zero to worry about. To not even give a proper farewell. It was a phone call after everyone left the office. And effective immediately.
