Here’s a policy that many people don’t realize exists, so I figure it’s worth covering, minor as it may be…

I had no idea this was a policy of theirs! I feel like it would be cool to collect them though it would take more space in one's home than ducks or Delft houses...

I have kept the pillow from my first ever Qsuites flight over 7 years ago. Since then, I took the pillowcase from subsequent QR J flights because I normally only travel with a small backpack on QR and don't have space for the pillow after putting in my PJs and amenity kit 🙂

The pillow itself isn't anything substantial. I think it is the same one they have in Economy (same material at least).

Did they change the pillows from having world cities to having quotes now??

Was told to take the smaller pillows from Qsuites on our last Qatar flight by the flight attendants, but wasn't sure if it was because it was for our 2 kids. Good to know it's official policy. The little one uses it all the time as her travel pillow now.

We have a collection of the Qatar small pillow cases with the different city names. The flight crew had told us it was fine to take. But, we did not want/need the actual pillows.

I am (slightly?) embarrassed to say that I have close to a dozen of these pillows.

I seriously need to know who manufactures the blanket. It’s just such a good quality.

OMG, I'll flying QR in the summer for the first time. I'll definitely be asking (or maybe not, lol) if I can take a pillow with me.

Great timing to hear this, flying QSuites for the first time on Friday. I'll certainly take the pillow as a keepsake, let's just hope the quote isn't too cringe.

They had world cities on the two flights I took a month ago. The flight to London had London on it for me 🙂

The pillow would be so much better without the writing. Looks like something from an old lady’s Etsy store.

LH did ducks when the passenger flies in first class. I'm pretty sure Ben has done an article or three on these.

Didn’t know the Qatar blankets weren’t also free game whoops! I take them every time!

Actually the opposite. The quotes came first. The world cities came after. We have seven of those pillows in our family room--and I do ask every time before we take them.

I took the Eva hello kitty pillow home once (after asking) for my 9yo daughter. Was a fun little gift.

In the LH first class lounges. Often with seasonal themes (I have a couple of Oktoberfest ones). Matt from live and let fly will fly to Germany just to get the Christmas one 🙂

The last time I flew them, the pillows had city names and a monument on them. They look great on my couch! LOL

The writing on the pillows reminds me of cringe-worthy home staging. Those who enjoy Zillow porn will know what I mean... 🙂

I have 14 of them at home. I like the other side of the pillow that has a destination on in.

A suitable quote for the pillow.
"Trump the greatest President ever MAGA"

Actually, the crew gave me a new and unwrapped blanket to take home when I asked them nicely and explained that I collect knick knacks from different airlines so ymmv

The writing on the pillows is so tacky and cheapens what is otherwise such a classy product. I am amazed they have persisted with it.

I've had a few over the years. They make great seat padding for longer flights when you're down the back of the bus... particularly on BA!

Matt is dedicated. I want to fly in the nose of the 747 before they eventually retire them. Was hoping for the updated Allegris cabins, but, may just have to go old-school... for the duck!

Commenter AlanZ speaks highly of the roast goose, often served around holiday time, too.

If it's not physically attached to the seat, it's a souvenir 🙂

Really though, nice to know. Now if only taking one didn't put me over their 7 kg carry-on limit...

We may have a couple of ANA’s blankets and sweaters around the house. The blankets are fantastic. UA let us take one of those colorful blankets once.

I didn't know for years, but I realized they could be taken in 2024. So now I snag them as gifts.

The pillows now have cities on them (QR destinations) one side is English and the other in Arabic. They’re pretty nice if you get a city that you like (does not correspond at all to where you’re flying)

Also their Xmas special design at least in 2024 was pretty nice too

I just got a Paris pillow from my flight on Friday. Way better than getting a cringey quote, will be giving it to a friend of mine

Sounds like a good reason to pass the save act. Only problem is most travelers I meet under 50 are maga
