What am I missing? Why would anyone pay a guest fee at these restaurants in the first place? I mean, even if you hit the £15 or £20 (or whatever) right on the head, you’d never come out ahead.
@ Daniel - I wouldn't expect anyone to pay for a guest at a PP restaurant because, as you correctly point out, there's no benefit.
But the credit given to paid members to use at PP restaurants (i.e. the discount off their bill) has so far been equal to the cost of a guest fee to take someone into a lounge (i.e. the 'value' PP believes a lounge or restaurant visit is worth) so I was interested to see if the credit would be increased in line with the guest fee increase.
The PP app doesn't show the restaurants, only the lounges, right? Is there an easy way to determine if a given airport has any PP options (e.g. lounge, restaurant, or nutthin)?
And let's see if the membership price won't go up as well. It's the price of so many people getting it for free with credit cards, I guess.
@James. You're right, thanks! I guess the trick is to look at every possible terminal. I had tried JFK and didn't see Bobby Van's, but it's lurking there right under the fourth option, which is Terminal 8.
Depends on the airport and situation. My limit would be $25-50. and that depends on the food whether its US or Europe (Europe lounges are better than American lounges) and how long my layover is. Interesting to see if in a few years PP reworks the agreements with the credit card people. Its insane that some cards let you bring in 8 or more guests.

Ironic that this is posted under Great Deals. PP is disappointing enough as a credit card “benefit”. Boggles my mind that anyone would pay for this.
Also we as Finnish Priority Pass customers got a notification yesterday that the fee will increase from 24 euros to 28.
