The White Lotus Season 4 Hotel Leaked... And It's Not A Four Seasons?!
The White Lotus is one of my favorite TV shows in recent times, and so far, there have been three seasons. Mike White does such a brilliant job with the plot, but my favorite thing is that the show is always filmed at luxury hotels, so it has a fun travel angle.

Four Seasons has cut ties with White Lotus and that knowledge has been out there for sometime.
What's extra confusing is that this is the 4th season too... wouldn't it make sense for the 4th season to also be filmed at a Four Seasons?
Or could it be that this property will become a Four Seasons by the time the filming is wrapped!
What are you? A five-year old with no common sense?!? This makes no sense at all.
This is such a fun reveal. One of the things I love about The White Lotus is how the setting almost becomes a character itself, so moving away from a Four Seasons actually makes a lot of sense creatively. It keeps the show from feeling predictable and opens up new cultural and visual dynamics. Curious to see how the new location shapes the tone of Season 4 — especially after how strong the last season’s atmosphere was.
Probably need to stay here before the season premieres to avoid the inevitable price hike
Room rates start at about €2800 for bookings this May, so it's not like they're giving them away as it is.
How sad for anyone who had hoped to visit this corner of France. Now ruined forever with the morons.
HBO did not renew its marketing contract with Four Seasons. Informed speculation is that Four Seasons no longer found the deal worth the disruption.
I was very critical of a review Ben posted about a then recently-opened property in Cabo a couple years ago, given the rates he shared. The Airelles group of hotels is probably at par with those rates, but offers so much more in terms of authenticity, sense of place, value (in the luxury sense). Honestly sort of surprised they would open the doors to a show like this, given how private the French normally are. I’d stay at one of the Airelles properties any day before I’d drop a dime at a luxury resort in Mexico. Totally different experience.
In S3 they also filmed in ANANTARA SAMUI, ROSEWOOD PHUKET and MO BKK, so it was not exclusive of FS either
If you fancy a little laugh, check this SNL skit about Black Lotus:

From what Ben has experienced regarding the service, I think S4 screenwriters could draw some inspiration from the above
Whatever the location, if they can do it to Bobby Ewing….bring back Tanya 🙂
There is very little plot. White Lotus 3 was generally ridiculously nothing happened in every episode.
You just like everything bling
Thank god they are back filming in Europe again .I have been To Koh Samui Thailand ,love the island ,but the white Lotus season recorded on the island was not a hit in my opinion .
1990, I stalked you onto this article just to find out if you would comment. Even Eskimo has not bothered, so, why you? Is looks to me as if you might be a fan?
Careful now 1990, one might easily think that you are really a prol’ pretending to be a normal person …. 🙂
The White Lotus is an HBO dark comedy-drama that follows wealthy vacationers and resort staff at luxury destinations, using satire, tension, and mystery to critique privilege, relationships, and human behavior — beautiful settings, uncomfortable truths, and usually a dramatic (sometimes deadly) ending. Entertainment for the masses (proletariat), alternatively, one of Ben’s, back pocket click-bait articles.
Right... Because the south of France (and Saint Tropez/Cap Ferrat/Antibes in particular) wasn't already a zoo...
THis was known - the cutting ties with Four Seasons - back in October

Good LORD, a week stay there costs twice as much as I spent on rent last year. I’m far from rich but that’s a lot of dough to drop on a room.
Can't be cheap given the prices these days in Europe and the exchange rate if your base is USD
The Four Seasons is being very discreet. Could it have anything to do with the number of people who died on their property at the end of season 3 ? A single death is one thing but multiple
Deaths ? Maybe that’s not good for their brand.
