During my recent review trip, I had quite a bit of time at London Heathrow. In addition to checking out the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse and Amex Centurion Lounge, I also checked out the No1 Lounge, which is a Priority Pass lounge that you can also purchase access to.

You can usually order something cooked from a menu as well, but it's also quite limited and portions are very stingy and small. You can only order one item as well.

A general observation of all the recent lounge reviews is that they have returned better than ever since the end of the pandemic. As someone who traveled for work during the pandemic, the closures and abysmal offerings of the lounges that were actually open was frankly scary in that one didn’t know if they would ever be back to decent offering levels. The future looks great!

If you’re hungry, eat at the AMEX lounge first.

But if you have a long wait, I’d wait in this lounge. It has windows! The AMEX lounge is a windowless box.

Virgin Atlantic PE customers often get special deals when booking through Virgin Holidays, it fills up really quickly.

Indeed it is!
In fact, we left an online review suggesting it be renamed as such, for that reason.
We had entrance because of travelling KAL in Business Class in April and Nov 2022, and it was truly terrible.
No seats, no food to speak of, untidy, understaffed, I won't go on.

This is a comedy lounge, never pay actual money for it.

The actual lounge is nice, but Ive never been in such a mean spirited lounge, they hate giving you anything.

You can have one (1, as in a single and then no more) bacon roll.. what sort of lounge is that? Better still, if you ask for something that is visible behind the counter they will actually move the item you asked for so its no longer visible.

Plus unless youre there within about a 5 minute window of them opening, theyll declare theyre full anyway.

"There are some “Club Rooms,” which are essentially small, private lounge areas. These are roped off, and I believe they’re reserved for select premium passengers who get access to the lounge through an airline. Perhaps it’s also possible to book these rooms directly."

@Lucky!!! This is this information we want from you Ben... Can we reserve them or not?

Yep. Honestly this. Was so annoyed years ago when I chose to fly with Cathay Pacific to Taipei, as their brand new Heathrow Lounge should have been open, but because of long delays opening ended up having to use this awful pitiful lounge as a replacement...

I used this lounge with my family of 4, pre booked online. I found the service had space for improvement (the man at the bar didn't appear to understand anything I said, I also saw other customers have the same problem). Our family actually got put into one of the rooms mentioned in this review. I'm not sure if this is what they normally use them for, or just because everywhere else was full. It did, however, essentially give my family a private room while there.

Avoid at all costs. Terribly rude staff. Hard plastic garden chairs. Very little space between tables. More like a poorly run cafe I couldn’t see any ‘lounge’ areas. Food bland cold and inedible. Toilet’s absolutely filthy and terribly dark . Don’t waste your precious time or money.
