Wow. I feel so bad for the family. Normally I use the airport escalator since I travel light with a backpack most days. If I do have heavy luggage with me, that's when I use an elevator. May she rest in peace.
What a tragic situation, I feel so bad for the relatives, that must be shocking!
I can't get it it took that staff 3 days to discover a body. If you light up a sigaret outside a smoking zone immediately you are surrounded by 3 cops. RIP
Sidenote; the elevator still the safest way of transport in the world, followed by flying.
How many people are going to die with a cell phone pressed against their head?
"There are more questions than answers when it comes to this incident — how could something like this happen to begin with, and how did it then take days to find her body?"
Good Job, Agent 47.
Payment will be transferred immediately.
Incorrect, trains are actually safer.
The list is:
1. Elevators
2. Trains
3. Airplanes
What a tragic accident.
However, I'm still waiting for people to blame automation and demand human elevator operators back.
Not the info I have. Just google "safest way of transportation"
Ok, never is mentioned something about elevators but still it is a way of transportation. Of topic.
That was the story how operator-less elevator overcame the public's fear of free falling.
Elisha Otis demonstrated the safety device against free falling.
The public finally accepted automated elevators
This happened to me two months ago. The problem is the quietness of the doors opening and closing behind her. Luckily, I didn’t try to force the doors open. People DO NOT expect that the wall behind them is actually tge door they will exit.
I assure you, no one is cross shopping between whether they should take the elevators or the train.
Probably partly her fault and partly the airport's fault but rest assured the airport will get all of the blame.
This is just crazy ! The door shouldn’t of opened full stop when she was trying to get out , if the lift was between floors and she got the door opened that shouldn’t of happened that poor girl falling to her death is clearly just shocking !!! ! Poor thing what a shocking horrible death!!!
