Review: Turkish Airlines Lounge Bangkok Airport (BKK)

That food looks pretty vile

I was at BKK recently and tested out if you can use priority pass for an airline lounge if you fly with that airline i.e. flying TK using TK lounge. I know few places that have this rule.
You can't.

The scheme really paid off for Miracle and Coral.
Both have open or renovated several new lounges.

And someone whine that Ben staying at RC Bangkok which is worth a month salary and out of touch. He can stop whining and start by touching obvious corruption.

Last year I did a lounge crawl through the three BKK Star Alliance lounges that Ben's just reviewed.

Ben's review is overly generous. The food in this place is really bad (expecially by Thai standards), and the decor is old and tatty. I'd give it two stars.

There's really no reason to visit this lounge, ever. If you're on Star Alliance business class, the far superior EVA lounge is very close by, and is almost never busy.

Looks like TK got the furnishings from IKEA. I haven't been to the TG lounges in BKK in a few years but the services were amazing. I left Manila this morning on UA and was shocked by the Silver Kris lounge - about the worn out look, no champagne on offer, food was ok for for an 840am flight and service was amazing. Maybe that is the MO of *A outstations - I was going to try to go NH as I was in Polaris and *Gold but I was honestly too tired and already facing MNL-SFO-EWR long flight. The CX lounge looked much swankier from the outside. I dunno....

I’ve used this lounge in the past and a it’s great option when others are full - it was busier when I was there and they offered Turkish Pide style breads which were cooked fresh with toppings/fillings. The massage was unexpected and amazing!
