Omni Air International has unveiled its new business class product. The catch? You can’t actually directly book a flight in one of these seats.

I flew Omni once about 7 years ago, Seattle to Northern Japan. All coach 767-200. Seats were dated, no seatback entertainment, streaming, power. FAs were terrible, borderline hostile. The price was right though... it truly was a Greyhound in the sky.
OMG I'm dead from this premium class video. It's the music @ 1:07 and the very strange smile, bend and stare into the customer's face without saying anything @ 1:27, for me.
Didn’t Omni pick up young age ex continental 767-200ER’s? also, do they still park a few of their planes in Atlanta KATL?
Miserable video, honestly, very politically incorrect. Two FA, both females, one African American, other of Asian origin serving white passengers. One wide shot of the cabin where people of other races can be briefly seen. Cruise company I worked for had in their promo videos crew members from Caribbean mopping floors. I'm from Europe and I see this video as contribution to racial and social injustice, AV geek in me is sick of Omni Air. And directing is miserable as well, young fellow with short hair sits in 3 different seats during the video.
Obviously Sasa is looking hard to be offended, probably didn’t even realize one of the women being served is of Asian origin however with a lighter skin tone. Persons of color in the wideshot not good enough for Sasa, if everyone in the wideshot were Bipoc that would also lead to outrage. If the FAs were all white Sasa would have been offended by that too. Must be a hard life living like that.
Only in a travel blog where the previous generation business seating is praised as wonderful for a charter airline, and it's terrible on a commercial airline.
Also, why are the passengers in the video playing musical chairs in the cabin? They keep switching seats.
I can't help but smirk when I see some wine swiller who has no clue what a stem on a glass is for. Luke warm Champagne. Mmmmm!
Omni is probably the biggest parasite when it comes to charter airlines in America. I had the unfortunate opportunity to fly them twice while serving the military. Never on time, disgusting food and interior of planes. I have been in sand huts in Kabul that were cleaner than Omni’s planes and bathrooms. Also they pay their staff so poorly it’s basically the people no other airline will hire. Omni is the goodwill of airlines. Secondhand planes, secondhand crews, and you should expect that type of service . Even as a military member I felt it was a waste of tax payer money because as a US based company they treated soldiers like we were on a greyhound bus. Any entity that rents their service doesn’t care about safety or quality. Everything is fixed with duct tape and the companies pilots are those no other airline wanted either. Look at their own video they couldn’t hire paid actors? Instead I’m sure it’s their own crews posing as passengers. If they can’t even invest in a high quality ad showing their new products can you imagine how little effort they will provide in their service if purchased. Stay away you would be better off renting an entire plane from Spirit airlines than this awful company and spirit is probably the worst commercial airline in the US.
Should be able to fly to Hawaii and get on a Vegas charter fairly easy. Omni serves Boyd gaming for their “Vacations Hawaii” product, shuttling hundreds of locals to Vegas several times a week.
Hahaha wow. It’s quite literally United’s cabin from ten years ago. On the one hand yay for them. On the other hand. Like did they literally just get these off the back of a lorry?
Interior may look good but engines are still old n prone to break downs!
Looks good on paper, and video. Omni cabin crews are overworked, underpaid, and not employed by Omni. They are contracted by a third party employer in Houston, that gives the best trips to the younger, prettier cabin crewmembers. When you apply for a cabin crew position, they ask
"are you okay with being away from home for 30 days?"
Any company that would accept this type of charter airline should know about this...beware RSSC, Crystal, Seabourn, Silversea.
Hahaha, it is their Tulsa employees as the passengers. Including the CEOs girlfriend.
Join the military and request a tour of duty to Iraq. That's how to fly Omni Air business class.
Call (888) 550-ARMY or go to goarmy.com to find out more.
Omni operated several times a week between Honolulu and Las Vegas. Call VACATIONS HAWAII for prices and schedules. They had stopped these flight during the pandemic.
I guess the military brass will enjoy sitting upfront instead in the back with the troops.
Why do you judge people by the way they look?
Maybe they identify as other races, origins, etc.
That’s not true at all. As a “pretty and young” flight attendant employed by Omni for nearly 10yrs You’re greatly misinformed. No need for your negativity.
Is it possible they purchased these Collins aerospace seats second hand? I could imagine the bulk of cost in a seat like this is all of the internal parts, and not the upholstery and cosmetic shell.
I flew Omni when they only had those outdated American Airline DC-10 rejects, they treated their FA's like crap because they fought against the crew members trying to get a union so they paid crazy sad wages, closed bases and if you wanted to stay with the company you would have to move to another city/base and pay to travel on a different airline out of your own pocket and always traveled with a Flight Engineer because the planes kept on having mechanical problems... I always wondered why the Milatary would use OAI ✈ to fly the soldiers who fight for America's freedom on a questionable aircraft...Maybe it's a Tulsa mindset, at least they have aircraft's that are not decades old like the DC10's
Ummm ur wrong: I worked as a FA and I worked for Omni -checks and all from Omni. At the time of interviewing session every person is asked if they are aware of being away from base approx 3 weeks at a time. This has nothing to do with looks or age as seniority is the bases as with any union position.
Sass, sad that you would jump to Omni being racist! I am a current employee for over 3 years and they are far from racist. You want to criticize the way they made the video, just sad! Everyone in that video are currently employed with Omni!!! Took the time to volunteer the days to help put this video together… for free at that!! So that should tell you that Omni is doing something right if people are willing to volunteer their time to do this. It’s just sad that you live a life of misery and down talking people! I give props to everyone who volunteered in the video!! It came out good.
FANTASTIC OMNI...I'm a crew member retired from one of the greatest Airlines to ever fly..CANADIAN PACIFIC AIRLINES and I see OMNI AIRLINES bringing back a quality product with QUALITY SERVICE. To see employees love their company to volunteer to get the word out about flying their FUN AIRLINE....KEEP IT UP!! PLEASE.

I'm curious if this will play in to the announcement regarding the contract with Darwin Technology for a Internet Booking Engine that was announced today. Maybe some scheduled or adhoc flying in the future? https://www.darwin.aero/news/omni-air-international-selects-darwin-travel-technology-internet-booking-engine/
Flew in the this configuration last year, Norfolk Naval to Naples, iT. It was a great seat. As far as FA's, our were pleasant and attentive. Since a few folks mentioned it, one was indeed young and pretty new, but another easily in her 50's and well experienced.
