I always wondered what it would be like to fly on the Star Ship Enterprise.

Do the employees have to pay for their uniforms?

If not, how many sets do they get? Asking as they’re short haul and probably often and with many segments (?)

If they sold the belt in black I would definitely buy it, maybe even the blue one but that’s much harder to style.

I wonder, does that tricorder that the first crew member is wearing really work?

How do you think these will look on normal shaped people. These are all model rail thin.

I think you mean “male” employees rather than “mail” employees.

Sorry…I should have said cabin crew (which is what you wrote) rather than employees (which is what I remembered when I wrote the comment).

Wasn’t meant as snarky, by the way. Just flagging the typo in case helpful.

Any haters should leave the chat because these are GORGEOUS. Aegean just gets branding right. From their cabins to their lounges to their website to their livery and now to their uniforms, everything is so clean, bold and authentically Greek. What a way to represent the country.

Aren't dark colors supposed to be slimming?

If they tap the logo they're able to communicate with other crew members, even those on other aircraft.

They look good and fresh. And they look Star Trek-esque.

My first thought was Star Trek/sci fi.

They look like Aliens from another planet. Did Star Trek have a fire sale?

Their lounges? Have you ever been to an Aegean lounge? They are tiny, completely packed all the time with limited food/beverage options. There is nearly always a very long line to even get into a lounge. I like Aegean's business class because it is definitely one of the best for intra-European travel, but the lounges are a disgrace.

The problem with these uniforms is that they will not age well. They may be stylish and cutting edge now but in a few years they will look out of day and, frankly, ridiculous.

Out of style, that is.

They would have been better served using real life crew members rather than food deprived models suffering from digestive disorders.

All the dudes who wear polyester Under Armour golf shirts and Kirkland sneakers while flying around on business trips are telling us that these uniforms are not stylish.

Star Trek rip off!!!
That being said, the tricorder pouch matches the uniform nicely! LOL

Uniforms should not look like costumes! I feel sorry for the cabin crew who are forced to wear this mess and I can’t believe they actually had any serious input into the decision to go with this.

Business style suits should be the uniform for all carriers-preferably dark colors. These are costumes.

Clearly you haven’t been to their new lounges in Athens and Thessaloniki that opened in the last year. Excellent design, and although the intra Schengen lounge gets crowded at peak times I was clearly referring primarily about the aesthetic and the branding.

GoySlop-eating, unhealthily obese Yanks with a lower life expectancy trying to lecture Europeans with asuper healthy mediterainian food on nutritiion.

No thanks. Hasn't there been a Vietnamese airline with flight attendants in bikinis?

On a second thought, it would be a bad idea on US airlines though...

No, these are just healthy, well nurished (Meditteranean diet) Europeans with a longer life expectancy than GoySlop-fed obese Yanks that take the car to get to the store 200m down the road instead of walking.

Once again, in the name of diversity, lets just stick the men’s blazer sleeve to a women's off-the-shoulder design and make it some failed attempt of a “ modern and inclusive” design. Rather than keeping it timeless, elegant and SIMPLE….they made it so futuristic it looks like a costume.

IDK, I've been on four Agean flights and the cabin crew have all been quite fit so I think the concerns about fitting 'regular' sized people is overblown.

The new styles certainly are bold but I imagine the crew will great. They pulled off the sleeveless dresses quite well when I visited in June

As Aegean doesn't accept FAs that are not skinny (and literally bullies them out), they made sure that there are no overweight FA that don't fit their uniform.

Aegean has been criticized many times for their unhuman working conditions.

Suspect you haven't been to the new lounges in Athens (Terminals A & B) and Thessaloniki. They're stunning with superb hot and cold food and open bar. The Inter-Schengen lounge in Athens can get annoyingly very busy especially in summer (they have a spill over lounge next door) but the new Extra-Schengen lounge in Terminal A is one of the most impressive of any European airline.

Aegean's cabin crew are all straight out of some finishing or school. Most are sweet, some are total robots. All (men and women) are beautiful and largely under 30.

Aegean don't run their own ground operations , as the old state owned Olympic did, so those staff employed by Goldair won't be wearing the uniforms.

The uniforms are beautiful but I think they look too costume-like. They won't age that well. The Greek PM's wife owns the label. I love Greek corruption.

'All the people pictured are young, attractive, slender, etc. Would someone with a different body type also feel good in these uniforms?'

I don't think there is much worry about someone with a different body type being in a position to wear the uniform. I mean, it wasn't until a few years ago that the airline even started hiring men as cabin crew.
Not commenting on whether that is a good or bad thing, but just the reality that looks definitely seem to be a part of the Aegean hiring process.

Also, I just flew with them today and the new uniforms are really nice. They look much more natural in person, but still quite fashionable.

I like the new uniform and I think it will be bold. My only issue is where is the diversity of uniforms for men? Women can go between a dress, skirt etc why can men not wear nice shorts (or a skirt for that matter). Aegean flies to warm destinations and a man needs to wear trousers (pants). Would I wear a skirt probably not however if it was 40+ degrees (104 for Americans) and I had to choose a skirt or trousers I would probably go skirt (with a short-sleeved shirt).

Flying Aegean I immediately notice that uniforms suit well only to super skinny and tall FA. All other body types apart of super skinny look, aren't comfortable at all ln these uniforms. I felt sorry for some FA who they weren't feeling comfortable at all while working hard. Nice uniforms for cat walk only.
