Yes, I jest. I actually don't know squat about HY but I assume the inflight service would be along the lines of "Comrades! In preparation for landing the captain has turned on the get-out-of-your-seat-and-you-will-be-shot sign."
I've been trying to entice (nag) Lucky for a year or so to give poor Uzy a try.
Since you only mentioned AK for the toiletries, but totally missed on the leather bag they came in. Fedon leather bags are really good quality and fashionable. Impressed.
It is so interesting to think about how international business class hard products have changed. 20 years ago, this would be a decent business class seat (45-50" pitch. Quite standard across the board at that time).

Do you have a review of coach on Meridiana from JFK to Naples?
I am concerned about the seats since I read the same about the age of the planes. We usually fly premium economy on Virgin but not sure we want to spend the money here since the plane is so old and not up to par as you explained. We love the convenience of non stop since we are traveling to the Amalfi coast and are thinking we should just try it.
