Blade, which is known for its urban air mobility passenger service in the United States and Southern Europe, is selling its passenger division, in a deal that I’d consider to be pretty logical.

Also, keep in mind that Blade’s air taxi operation is likely significantly unprofitable.
The main problem with helicopters is noise. Many cities, including NYC, restrict airspace due to that reason alone. Joby solves that problem, which means they can access the extremely dense areas that traditional helicopters could not.
Denver is a great example. Imagine how much time you'd save going from downtown to the airport. They would even have the range to take you from the airport to Breckenridge, Vail, or even Aspen.
Businesses pay a lot of money for a customer list. Seems like a win-win deal?
