In late August 2023, we saw the launch of BermudAir, a new airline offering service between Bermuda and the United States. The airline initially offered flights from Bermuda (BDA) to three destinations — Boston (BOS), Fort Lauderdale (FLL), and Westchester (HPN). Then in early 2024, the airline expanded to two more destinations — Baltimore (BWI)…

What's going on with the map displaying BermudAir's destinations? Fort Lauderdale (FLL) is in the middle of Florida, and way too North (right around Sebring).

Meanwhile, the point for Boston (BOS) seems to be where Providence, Rhode Island would be lol.

It amazes me how common these mistakes are on airline route announcements.

They should plan their Halifax flights so that passengers can connect in Bermuda to Florida.

Air Canada operated Bermuda-Halifax for many years. Natural business, leisure and student route with several Bermudian banks having back office operations in Halifax and many Bermudian students attending schools in Nova Scotia. Good to see it coming back.

When are you going to try BermudAir Lucky? We need a trip report. They operate out of FLL (gasp!) but maybe you can handle the trek.
Can't imagine what their J product would be as there is no airline caterer kitchen in BDA.

I understand making money off of a website is tough and advertising is necessary. However, ads that auto-play audio with no easy way to stop it is not user friendly. By the way it is a t-mobile ad and it has played twice since I started this comment. I am not one of those people who threaten I will not come back because I will come back because I want to support the great content. I just want to bring awareness.

Excellent news, as my husband and I live an hour from Halifax. We'll be booking a week in Bermuda this summer. I've often heard Haligonians comment on the good 'ole days when Air Canada flew between Halifax and Hamilton (with Vanguards, and later with DC-9s).

I am delighted that they are flying into Halifax! I have been a yearly visitor to the Island for over 20 years! Air Canada used to operate this flight several years ago and it was always full in both directions with so many University student and regular Canadians who used Bermuda as thier snowbird destination!

My wife and I flew Bermudair for the very first time a few days ago using a Bermuda to Boston flight and later driving the 8 hours up to Moncton, NB and Amherst, NS after friends had taken and recommended the Bermudair service. We travel between Bermuda and Nova Scotia a few times a year. We've been bumped, split up as a family and overpaying at Air Canada too many times over the years. The flight was full but the service was excellent. The seats are two and two, wider than average, and the food and coffee was fresh and served in coffee mugs with no plastic. Our daughter and friends are already scrambling to book the Halifax to Bermuda flight this spring and summer. The Boston flight was only a short hour and 45 minutes but I think that was more due to a tail breeze than the Bermudair flights. I imagine the Halifax flight would be 2 hours. We will be looking to use BermudaAir as a first option in the future.

I think we can conclude that they are done by the marketing departments rather than by the pilots!
Easyjet used to have at SXF a six-foot-tall hard-plastic advertising display with various mistakes, including showing Naples to be where Rome is.
