In late 2023, we saw the launch of Beond Airlines, a new Maldives-based all-business class airline that has big growth aspirations. In addition to offering service to and from the Maldives, the airline has now put its first fifth freedom flight on sale, which seems logical enough.

Unless Beond has competitive pricing, it’s gonna be hard to succeed. I saw some reviews and while it’s pretty decent for narrow body, the overall product just doesn’t compare with the premium carriers in ME3. They have way too much advantage with superior lounges, catering, and more.

The schedule between ZRH and DWC is hardly enticing, especially the Tuesday/Wednesday run.
