Yesterday I wrote about an upcoming overnight at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, and asked y’all if I should stay at the Sheraton Schiphol Airport (which looks nice and convenient) or the Corendon Schiphol Airport (which looks unremarkable, except for the fact that it has a 747 parked out front).

Ben, what OTA did you use to book this room? Since the hotels.com 11th night free perk is gone, I can hardly find anything as good as a 9.09% rebate, so I'd like to know your recommendations. Thank you very much!
@ Ezawa Tami -- I booked directly through Marriott Bonvoy. As a Titanium member paying with a Marriott credit card, I earn 23.5x points per dollar spent, which I value at a 16.45% return. That doesn't even account for the upcoming promotion, which offers even more value.

It mentions to email the hotel in advance to ask specifically for Torsten van Kouwen and/or Jaap Aangeenbrug as these were the designers & builders of the 737 cockpit suite .

The cabin part of the 737 is always open to the room.
The cockpit part with its flightsimulator is closed, only to opened by aforementioned guys by appointment only.
This to ensure integrity and quality by avoiding any damages.

The flight simulator has enough choice of diverse airports to fly to, both guys are happy to guide and instruct guests for private sessions. If you have any favorite airport of flying into, they can prepare accordingly to make it even more immersive, these guys are extremely detail orientated !

Thank god, it is not a MAX. Otherwise it would just pop open during the night…
FWIW, the Haneda Excel Hotel Tokyu has a room (Superior Cockpit) with an actual 737 simulator inside that you can fly with an instructor for 90 minutes.
