Just saved 60,000 points on our upcoming trip to St. Regis Maldives in a couple weeks due to this!
I wonder how small of a population this is actually applicable for. 21 days basically to use for a stay. So probably anyone with an existing stay coming up, and may be a tiny amount of people who haven't locked in their rooms for their upcoming travel, and even a tinier amount of people who feel compelled to make a stay out of this due to the discount.
