You forgot the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay! I had a couple nights staycation there last weekend (using 2 50k certs I had) before the 4th and it was very pleasant. The beaches were closed for the holiday weekend, but there are paths that run above the beach which make for a scenic walk.
Couple of quibbles to note:
1. Lynchburg is not really that close to Shenandoah National Park. Marriott properties in Waynesboro, Staunton, Harrisonburg, & of course Charlottesville are all closer.
2. No mention of any beach properties in Ocean City, MD? There are several there last I checked.
I don't see any mention of a lot of places to go on the north east coast. Would you consider making one for that region?
I'd also suggest adding the Inn at Bay Harbor in Michigan to this list. Just visited last weekend for a little getaway, and was generally impressed by the property and outdoor activities. Great use of 35k certs given the $450+ room rates this time of year!

For Niagara Falls, I would add Reikart House. It's technically in Buffalo, but it's out by the airport (so not that far of a drive from Niagara) and it's much better than the options actually in Niagara.
The Del Monte outside of Rochester, NY, is an option for New York wine country.
The Equinox in Vermont.
And the Wentworth in Portsmouth definitely needs to be on this list!

For CA wine country, include Hotel Trio in Healdsburg. Technically this is a Residence Inn, but RI branding is nowhere to be seen. Summer rate is 40K points per night or around $316 all-in with an affinity discount, includes full breakfast which is grab-and-go but you can reheat stuff in your room’s kitchenette that includes a stove. There’s a gourmet supermarket across the street.
Wow, nothing but Boston, NYC and Niagara in the entire Northeast? I kind of thought it was a Marriott wasteland over here, but now you've confirmed it.
