Miles & More Rebrands As... Wait For It... Lufthansa Group Miles & More

Somebody got paid for the name change.

At least it is sensible as versus something like Stellantis.

I hope they don't keep renaming everything to the point we end up with "Welcome to our Lufthansa Group Swiss flight #XXX" or "Lufthansa Group Austrian flight #XXX."

How much did they pay the consultants for this?

Unfortunately, they do. This new welcome speech has already been implemented.

Now, this change leads to the interesting question what happens with the non-LHG Miles&More airlines, e.g., LOT, Luxair. They are clearly not part of LHG ...

The original sin in this regard was Allegis.

Very good point. I'm still holding my breath for LOT actually launching its own FFP though, it makes zero sense for them to use M&M considering their hostilities with Lufthansa.

I think it's ultimately inevitable, it's a nonsense for an airline to use 10 different brands.

This reminds me of when the stadium in St. Petersburg, Florida, which is now known as Tropicana Field, was built. The city took suggestions from the public as to what to name the stadium (the corporate sponsorship by Tropicana was still years away at this point). Hundreds of suggestions came in, and the city narrowed them down to two and let the public choose between them.

The two final choices were "Suncoast Dome" and "Florida Suncoast Dome."

Thankfully, it's not 'Allegris Miles and More' (just yet...)

Maybe Miles & Smiles is easier for more customers to remember and associate with airline program. If so, it will have wearied Lufthansa to have customers confuse it's program with Turkish's.

Allegris presented by Lufthansa Group Miles & More will be officially announced in 2027 and first roll out in 2035.

few weeks ago I received a mail from Miles and More stating that my Lufthansa Senator Gold Car was changed to ITA Airways Senator Gold Car and that apperared onmy card in Mileas and More app-
I wrote to Senator customer service refusing that change as I have the Luftansa Miles and More card since 1992 and 95% of my flights was on Lufthansa airplane. Despite I am Italian and I still leave in Italy I never flown ITA Airways. Than I gor a reply stating that my card will be again with Lufthansa name but till today nothing has been changed on the card in my Lufthansa app

Will I still get my goose!
