JetBlue is not currently blocking seats. I just flew in the middle seat next to two strangers.
I looked up their policy and it changed in a mealy-mouthed way to block seats “when possible.”
The rows ahead and behind me were also full.
Look, there is no right answer for this. There is always a risk if you are to fly, period which you must accept.
I believe Jetblue was responsible to wait for some time for this policy. While some may be unhappy, the increased capacity of testing that has come on line is very significant and the Biden admin will make testing only more accesible.

@Daniel, as Ben noted, their current policy is to sell up to 70% of seats.

I flew Delta and every middle seat was kept empty except in cases of families flying together.
I agree - at the end of the day it's a calculated risk everyone has to determine for themselves.
I would wait however until the vaccine comes on board (pun intended)- assuming it is effective and the virus doesn't morph too much, that will bring air travel close to normal again.

I haven't flown since January, and this "we block when we can" bulls**t is the main reason. The airlines are funding studies to show how impossible it is to catch Covid in an aircraft while neglecting the operational responsibilities to observe a 6 foot distance rule.
Jet Blue is not blocking any seats whatsoever. When I flew, the entire flight was booked, I have people next to me, across from me, front and back. The guy next to me was coughing. Truly unacceptable and straight false advertising. I’ll be calling Jet Blue for a full refund. I specifically flew Jet Blue because all news/articles say they are blocking seats.
Well I'm flying Mint later this month. But the next time I fly (if I absolutely have to), I'll choose Delta. Jetblue is clearly not prioritizing the health of its passengers.
I flew back to nyc from Orlando adn the plane was packed. I was not aware as my wife booked the flight. I felt unsafe having someone inches away from me. I am a mosaic flyer with Jet blue and will not be flying with them until it is safer too. I do not do indoor dining either. I do not understand how the govt restricts capacity but Jet blue can pack passengers in during this pandemic
