even floating an offer like this highlights how badly their customer base has defected from them.
DL will be 1.5X B6' size in BOS and JFK by this fall and winter and DL still has a large hub at LGA which B6 doesn't have. DL might actually become larger at FLL than B6.
offers like this make zero sense if you truly have sufficient high value passengers that are willing to fly you - but B6 doesn't have that.
I hope he does it. He already did all the AA bus rides in a single day including paying the $500 one way ones so why not do this too lol
By the time you're done earning the bonus JetBlue's going to, at best, be going through a BK re-org or sale.
From a speculative perspective, if you think JetBlue might be acquired by another airline in the next couple of years, then getting Mosaic status for 25 years could be an interesting move as it could net you elite status on whichever airline buys JetBlue for 25 years
Of course, from the flip side, if JetBlue is acquired, the airline that buys them might not recognize the status earned from this promotion (for those who hit 25 flights)
Can I just fly DCA-JFK RT every weekend for 25 times and get that elite status or do I have to fly to different destinations? If the former, what do I get for this elite status?
This is a very intriguing challenge, but unfortunately obligations in life will prevent me to do this. However, I can see a bunch of people in the YouTube community doing this.

If connections count (and it looks like they do), can probably figure out some creative low-cost tickets here. Whether B6 will be around in 5 years let alone 25 is another story, but I imagine there will be folks that take advantage of this offer.
After United merges with JetBlue, the conbined airline will even FURTHER outpace Delta for biggest and best global airline. Basically, this promo is fly to 20 destinations, get 350,000 miles to use on the world's greatest airline and alliance.
It really helps if you're in the NYC area with multiple airports and frequent a destination with multiple airports. E.G., NYC-MIA area. Just two roundtrips to Florida can net you 7-8 airports.
Do connections count (the middle airport)? Does your home airport count? Or only the destination of a roundtrip?

Departure airport doesn’t count as destination as per T&Cs so definitely no 7-8 airports in two roundtrips.
As a west coaster, there is no way that this makes sense for me, but man would it be fun to try.

That said...I'm thinking about it...
You could get 8 destinations in 2 round trips if you can manage a different connecting city on each direction. For example, hypothetically:
LGA-BNA-FLL returning FLL-BWI-LGA
JFK-ATL-MIA returning MIA-CHS-JFK
...would net you DCA FLL BNA LGA ATL MIA CHS JFK, in that order.
Of course, I made up those routes, in real life it would be a lot more work to find actual flights.
Not really convincing to me. Could have been worth a try had it been Mosaic 3 with Mint upgrade certificates. But without these - nah.
Let them merge first. I remember recently B6 tried to merge with AA, then enter partnership with them. And now they are being courted by UA. And even then - it's the lowest tier status, with perks achievable via a $95 credit card. I don't see any reason to bother. Had it been at least a Mosaic 3 with Mint upgrade certificates, could have been worth considering.
I wouldn't count on that. Promo requires your B6 frequent flier # attached to the booking. And in case of partners - it will be their FF #.
Does that mean you start every year with 50 tiles - so earning another 50 bumps you to mosaic2? Or do you have to "re-earn" those first 50 before going above?
Even for this year - if you knock out the 25 destinations, say at $100/ea, that's 25 tiles right there - does that put you at 75? Which can be 95 if you take the 20 tile bonus.
I'm oddly tempted to try this out... what's the best way to find cheap JetBlue fares if you don't care about the destination?
It only works if you are planning to go to the places anyway. It does not work as a mileage run
It depends on how many places you were already planning to go. If you weren't planning to go anywhere, then...probably not (though in theory, 25 yrs of Mosaic /might/ be worth it in some cases - there's an amusing absurdity to it, but if you get the Pick Your Perk for Mosaic 1, potentially locking in IHG Platinum until the early 50s this way might be worth it for some folks). But if you were already going to, say, 15 destinations then doing some antics with different arrival/departure airports (LGA/JFK/EWR, MIA/FLL/PBI, etc.) to get to 20 or 25 might be worth the hassle of a few Ubers.
Also, if you get the M1 Pick Your Perk, IGH Platinum Elite (presuming that sticks around) for 25 years off of this would be an amusing little memento.
(It's just a shame they're not paired with Marriott...the idea of using this to neuter the "time in grade" needed for LTP is an amusing alternate universe idea.)
From what I read in the terms, all folks with a Jet Blue FF# that fly with that # during the qualified timeframe automatically are in.
Flights before teh qualifying timeframe already flown do not count

First m, that’s only 8 destinations not 9. Second, u seem to be unfamiliar with lower AL as well, lmao. one need not be familiar with lower AL since Pensacola is in FL.
Doesn't work. They don't fly from Richmond to Charleston or Charleston to Savanna or Savanna to Jacksonville. Or many of these other routes you are listing.
Looks like Chat GPT is hallucinating again. Many of these are broken.
There’s no PVD-BOS flight, for example. It’s just one hour by car. No NAS-RSW. No PUJ-GCM. No NAS-GCM.
Also, some of these have just one, very late, service per day. Like JFK to BDL (or MHT, PVD, SYR, PIT etc) where you land around midnight and need a hotel for the night… So not very good for an efficient trip with multiple sectors per day.
Any idea if partner award bookings work? Booking B6 metal and attaching trublue number to it.
The only benefit for me here would be when another airline acquires JetBlue and has to give status to the mosaic customers. But it’s probably going to only be a low tier status is my guess.
