With the airline likely headed toward Chapter 11, consolidation, or liquidation in the next 12 months, I would think no.
B6 has been sideways for since covid with their demise due to interest rates. UA, DL, AS are the purchase players. United is widely considered the natural fit and don't disagree. Delta is intriguing for a ny & sfl entrenchment play and/or stalking horse.
Alaska, however, with recent virgin & hawaiian integration experience and no obvious path to sustained domestic expansion, is the wild card. combined airline would 11%+ market share and establishes a legit 5th national carrier. Expensive but why not try...
