Ben- Just a small technicality. Free night awards can be redeemed at franchised properties which are not hotels "managed by Hyatt."
I tried to use my award night the night prior to the date it expired, but could not get it to book on the app. I called and was told I could not use it the night before. It had to be booked prior to the day before expiration. This is very confusing and can cost new comers to lose awards if they aren’t paying close attention.
