Hyatt has done a good job introducing some special types of rates during the pandemic, to get heads into beds. For example, several weeks back Hyatt introduced a new 20% off rate that also included breakfast.

@ Ben -- Very clever, but i can work from home for free and avoid COVID-19. Not sure this will generate much marginal revenue.

"Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe (California)"

You mean Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe (Nevada) right?

Minor correction: Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe on the "Window to the Waterfront" list is in Nevada, not California.

There rates at Lake Tahoe are $200+ more a night compared to BAR. No thanks.

You can probably pay half as much going through Priceline. What a joke.

They should waive the pet fees to make this more compelling.

Can you combine this with a Hyatt Prive booking?

Great concept If it actually involved a savings off standard rates. Completely silly otherwise.

We stayed at 3 different Hyatt's in the last couple of weeks and found cleanliness in the rooms far worse than pre-pandemic. Glad we brought our own wipes/spray. But instead of a pre-cautionary measure, it became a requirement in order to make the room inhabitable. Their marketing materials can talk about safety this and that just so they can check all the boxes to remain open, but the reality is far from perception. STAY AWAY—WORK FROM HOME!

FYI at the Hyatt Clearwater (where I stayed recently at the $187/night rate, parking & the resort fee are $29 each. In case that changes anyone’s math....

The Tahoe rates are an absolute joke at $200+ higher than the longer stay rate. Why would anyone also think that 10% off laundry is a bargain?!?

Has anyone found any locations/dates where these rates offer a good value?

Maybe Priceline has a forum you can comment on so we don’t have to read your garbage.

Anyway, my march go to lifetime Globalist continues.

Thanks but when I look at the Wild Dunes Resort in South Carolina I don’t see that rate listed on the Hyatt site.

Seen some very good prices at ziva/Zilara Punta Cana although only standard rooms available ? Do you actually have to show you are working or is this merely a heads on pillows promotion.
