Meh. I am honestly surprised by many hotels on this list, if Hyatt Prive is intended for actual luxury travelers. Hyatt has a handful of fantastic luxury properties, but overall not a very desirable portfolio for us non-point chasers.
Based on my experience with World of Hyatt being a globalist for over 5 years I can confidently say that the program is misleading. The customer support for globalist is horrible and most of the benefits are not offered. The biggest deceptive benefit if the suite upgrade and the suite purchase by points. In both cases its not a standard suite. It always the lowest category of junior suite. In park hyatt new york I booked a standard suite (which in reality is a junior suite) and they clearly refused to provide an upgrade to a standard suite even though I am a globalist member.
Also you have to know that only very few PArk Hyatt properties are actually 5 stars in terms of service. Most of these properties doesn't even qualify for 3 stars service.
