While I wouldn’t usually look to Paris Hilton for travel inspiration, her recent honeymoon will interest points enthusiasts more than you’d think.

Paris’ family originally cut her from the family fortune because of her party girl ways and she responded by deciding to be rich enough on her own that no one would ever tell her what to do again. So she took the appearance fees she got for showing up at trendy LA clubs, found a trustworthy investment team, and parlayed that into her own fortune. That she’s advertising for Hilton now might be seen as sone sort of family reconciliation l. I’m indifferent on Paris as a person but respect that she has worked hard to get where she is financially instead of just blowing that appearance money on shoes and champagne

Those are definitely barely disguised ads. I normally would not watch those, but as it turns out I'm leaving next week end for a week at Zemi Beach House so I was curious to see a recent "review" 😀 . But I couldn't get through it, way too cringe.

Agree - as easy as it might be to make fun of her, she's done a brilliant job business wise, and an extremely amazing role in her work to reduce abuse in children's mental health facilities.

You can find The Muraka (underwater villa) for as low as ~10K, which might be considered a bargain when looking at some other high-end rooms in the Maldives.

I've so far stayed at the JJAE at the St Regis (split the $3500/nt cost between three of us and paid 85K points for the night) and the Stella Maris Villa at W.A (briefly lived T-Mobile mistake rate of $2500++)

Park Hyatt Maldives also recently introduced their Presidential Villa, but on the low end its $11K++/nt. I'd rather have the Muraka for that amount (and intend to try it out one day).

If you haven't already, check out Trisha Paytas' recent honeymoon videos at the Muraka. She even made a couple videos in Emirates First Class.

Boycott Hilton Hotel properties, since they have disrespected and have no regard of Diamonds members by eliminating free breakfast at most of their prime properties.

Wow - I can’t imagine a better reason to not go to a property than the endorsement of famous people who are famous for being rich.

Would think with so many month-a-versaries hubs could learn some decent moves. Tip: clips are best viewed set to mute with focus on the incredible fashion, beauty, & scenery.

There's a Hilton Garden Inn in Krasnoyarsk, Russia (Siberia), and she attended the opening. True story. So there's that...

Actually Paris alone is worth more than tens of millions. She has many perfume lines for decades not to mention other businesses she owns. I’m sure Hilton is paying her minimally a million dollars to do these informercials. I would not be surprised if she jets off to Laucala Island to be pampered in private after shooting these segments. The underwater room looks interesting and very Instagramable. At that price though, I guess one won’t be seeing 20 year olds taking selfies in that room any time soon…. Unless they made a boat load via crypto. Lol.

That's what a good PR agency is meant to do.
Same goes with saying $15 credit is better than breakfast.
The only difference is most people don't care about the Hilton family fortune to call out the deception. (and some who are blindly loyal to Hilton throwing money recklessly at the hotel)

By the way, the only thing Paris really did is called growing up.

Conrad Rangali opened in 1997 as the first branded hotel in the Maldives. We were lucky enough to visit the "old" Hilton a few times before it was totally renovated into the Conrad. Every time I collect enough points we go back for another visit. Probably our last will be in March. Borrowed some points off by brother to stretch this special 50'th to 15 nights. Can't wait.

But we are in the cheapest beach villas - and I love them. Have stayed overwater and in the deluxe villa but the simple one fits my taste. Love walking out the front door and straight into the reef for a quick snorkle.
