We first noticed this yesterday, but it has now been officially confirmed. Hilton Honors has extended select free night certificates yet again. Since Hilton Honors free night awards now show on Hilton’s website, you should already be able to see these updated extensions.

Love the free nights! Redeeming 2 of them next month at the Conrad Maldives instead of paying almost a 1,000.00 each night all in.

Seriously is Hyatt ever going to join the party? I have literally begged my concierge. Living in Melbourne Australia has meant very little opportunity to use my suite nights.

IHG should have done the same, instead of only extending night certificates issued this year. Shame on you IHG...

A much less hyped (maybe because many cannot benefit from it right away) companion AMEX offer that has also been extended and I am going to capitalize on to achieve Hilton Honors Lifetime Diamond status within a year is this one:

Your everyday purchases could lead you to Elite Status. All Bonus Points earned on eligible purchases with any Hilton Honors American Express Card and posted to your Hilton Honors account by December 31, 2022 will be considered Base Points, which count toward Elite Status Qualification, including Lifetime Diamond Status.

So, with 333K+ bank points I transferred to redeemable SQ KF miles to burn before they expire, and loads of Chase UR and UA miles in bank, I am set for a good while as far as redeemable *A miles are concerned. Therefore, I have the luxury to start using my Aspire card to pay not just for hotel stays (14x) but also for within-U.S. dining (7x) and select travel-related costs paid directly to airlines (7x).

Already this year, with just 6 stays/18 nights, I have earned 139,009 base points that to this incredible offer! One can say that this "Aspire" Diamond has also requalified status the 'hard way'... 😉

Why go after the HH LF Diamond status when one can have it by just maintain the Aspire card? Well, I do not believe that the Aspire benefits, including the HH Diamond status that comes with it, will last forever. The benefits are just too good; AMEX and Hilton may decide to part company or 'restructure' their agreement; and there will come a time when I won't be able to do the large numbers of revenue stays that I have been doing for years.

Do you think Hyatt will extend their certificates? I hope so.

"Do you think Hyatt will extend their certificates? " - HT

"Seriously is Hyatt ever going to join the party?" - MDA

As we were recently reminded, in all fairness, "Hyatt has been extremely generous", although no reference time frame was provided for the purported 'generosity'...

Excellent news! Now instead of using our last remaining January expiry night to try to get a third night at WA Orlando (on a business trip, so no tax writeoff!), I can use my resort credit to stay at the Hilton and save the certificate to use in Italy this June!

Thanks; BUT IT APPEARS THAT HYATT has NOT extended their free-night certificates; if true, I would also try to avoid using HYATT facilities in the future.

@Roman,
Hey Roman... do you mind sharing how to redeem free-weekend nights at conrad maldives? I can see standard 95K award night online (already booked 5 nights redemption using points)

When I call Hilton diamond CSR they also see standard inventory at 95K. But when they try to apply the certificate the system won't allow them.

CS rep open a ticket for resolution but this same issue happened 3 times before, this final CSR finally opened a ticket for me, I am waiting for Hilton to contact me regarding this issue

Any tips, advise?

Glad Hilton extended their certs. Looks like I may need to make some stays at hyatt to use up those. Not what I wanted to do but I guess I can make it work.
