Several weeks ago, we took our oldest son, Miles, to Disney World for the first time. I wrote about that in a separate post, as it was quite an experience going there as an adult. During our time visiting Disney, we spent three nights at the 443-room Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World.

A 9-food waterfall? Sign me up! Do you get to pick the foods or is it the same rotation (or should I say flow) all the time?

Don't know, but the Swan ( on Disney property, but not owned )was the greatest place in the club lounge to observe a space launch from Canaveral. Love fs but sometimes it's about location. The Swan is a short walk from epoct. Wonderful memories. Maybe the fs has a Canaveral view?
My family stayed here a few months ago and we all loved it. We noticed guests tend to be tourists visiting the parks or convention attendees. The Disney concierge folks at FS Orlando were the best! They answered all of our parks questions and we had many. We found Capa to be family friendly (there were 2 toddlers in our party of 12) and Goofy's character breakfast was a blast! My recommendation is to enjoy the resort in between park days.
These prices are absurd. Doesn't one go to Disney to spend time in the park? Why pay such an obscene price for a place to sleep and store your bags for the day? There are almost 500 hotels in Orlando, and this?
The interior decorating in the living area of the suite kind of look like any random Courtyard by Marriott in Asia. Nice, functional, but not particularly exciting.
Thanks, as always, for an excellent review. The property looks nice, albeit very overpriced. What I can’t wrap my head around is the praise you’re constantly giving Four Seasons for their complimentary lobby coffee, considering that all budget chains also offers free coffee, and that the coffee itself is worth $1 or so 🙂
For real, Gene. I'm always surprised that this property charges what it does. You'd think you were at FS in Maldives, Seychelles, or Serengeti. HIE is probably best for Orlando...
Philly FS has that epic pool at level 57. Really enjoyed the stay there a few years back.

Depends if you consider Surfside a resort or not. I do (a beach resort), and the two are not even comparable (with Surfside blowing this out of the water). I've been to Orlando twice and found the day time food options (particularly at Lakeside) to be pretty bad.

Yea. His praise for the in lobby coffee is always weirdly effusive. It's nice and all, but usually tastes terrible
Ben, are the pools heated? I visited Orlando for the Christmas holidays a few years ago and it was freeeeezing for me (granted, I live in Hawaii). I couldn’t believe people were swimming in the pools, but I believe they were heated. Must have been so cold when they came out.
I got lucky and saw a SpaceX launch when I visited Orlando. I found out the day before that a launch was scheduled. We were at Legoland the next day and left early to drive out to Port Canaveral. It was unreal seeing it up close and then seeing the booster rockets return. If you ever have a chance, make the drive to Port Canaveral instead of from Orlando.
The people staying there are people who can afford to stay there.
Also, a guy sitting next to me on my flight BOS-MCO last Monday was staying there for a conference and was on an expense account.
Ben always highlights free coffee in the lobby in the mornings, regardless if its FS or another hotel. Its something he greatly values and takes advantage of, hence him highlighting it.
Because this blog doesn't only highlight points properties with loyalty programs, and thank goodness for that as not everyone is super interested in just that niche content.
