"While many airlines have been squeezing more seats into economy class...”

...said the airline with below average legroom, seat width and high density layouts 🙂

Why did they have to put the extra legroom seats at the front of the cabin? I wanted to be able to sit in front of the engines without paying extra 🙁

You are better to pay for one or two “ Neighbour free “ seats and lie down

I actually really like these initiatives.

On the occasions I have to pay to fly economy I always happily stump up for the exit row. Given my long haul travel is exclusively MEL - LHR the investment is always worth it. You never regret spending a few hundred extra bucks when your stretching out with no one in front.

Currently, to my knowledge only Malaysia & Finnair currently offer these types of extra legroom seats on routes available to me. Etihad have given another option to consider when I do book economy and for me that is a great thing.

That said, hopefully the points keep flowing so I won't have to any time soon!
