As I posted about a bit ago, Qatar Airways had a puzzling error at one of their ads at the Paris Air Show. They had an ad about their new business class product, though oddly they chose to make it specifically about the 787, even though there are other aircraft in the fleet which have…

Ben,
Regarding QR inventory availability in AA, this is what Al Baker comments during Paris Air Show
"If we are being cornered by an airline that invited us to be part of the alliance and is now acting against our interests ... blocking inventory and blocking us gates at JFK, of course we have no purpose to be in an alliance."
"If we find that we cannot have a settlement to this very contentious issue, yes we will exit from oneworld."
From his comments, clearly he accused AA blocking QR inventory. Would you agree with him or he was just jabbing around? Do you trust Al Baker at all?

I guess it's similar to being confused about the location of Quebec in a blog post, eh?

@ Tiara -- Presumably "inventory" refers to revenue inventory, ie codeshares and selling seats.

Is it only clear to me that the sentence "Al Baker is known to fire cabin crew mid-flight if he’s not happy with their service, so I doubt this will be much different." should contain at least one link to an amusing story about a nutgateesque incident on a QR flight?!?!
