DL is making a hub in AUS tbh, so it makes more sense for them to fly it on DL metal over AF metal. Tampa is overserved to Europe right now, so doubt we will see them. Maybe in the next 5 years+, but there are lots of options for AF that are likely scouting AF like SAN, PDX, MSY, BNA, etc
Could see an ME3 airline considering AUS within the next 10-15 years
you can only wish that DL would poison their relationship w/ their pilots.
The latest scheduling stuff is simply yet another example of a divided workforce and the vast majority of DL pilots do not want to get dragged into a fight over overtime pay and aggressive trip dropping/ pick up rules because most pilots don't do it.
this is a tempest in a teapot that will have precisely zero impact on DL medium or long term
