At the moment SkyTeam has some phenomenal business class fares for travel from Germany to the US. Roundtrip fares are $1,600-1,700, and perhaps what’s most exceptional is that you can travel as far as Los Angeles for that price. Fares are valid out of several German cities (Berlin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich, etc.) for travel to…

Speaking of fares, I thought it would be fitting to point out that Hong Kong Airlines is now offering US$1450 roundtrip fares between Tokyo and Melbourne through Hong Kong, with the Hong Kong to Melbourne flight operated by Virgin Australia. Just seemed like an amazing fare to share and there are similar ones that might potentially get you on a Hong Kong Airlines A350 🙂

Lucky you should definitely book this as you haven't reviewed KLM's new reverse herringbone business class yet.

KLM/AF are doing lots of business promotions currently (although strictly speaking I have seen these kind of fares quite often for business before).
As long as you are getting a stop in there via AMS or CDG you should easily get return fares for 1700USD. Try most UK cities, German cities etc. basically anything outside of Holland and France.

Great value for AF business class on the 787. Not sure if they've installed the new business cabin on their 777 or A380's yet, but I had a good experience on my short YUL-CDG 6 hour flight in the new 787 business cabin. Friendly service, comfortable seat and great food menu.
