Happy ‘UN Week’ in NYC… expect lots of traffic… might be a good week to redeem your BILT Blade credit to/from the city and JFK/EWR… then again, airspace can get closed down depending on which VIPS are coming and going.
Not a great start… PHL, EWR, LGA, JFK… all having rolling ground stops today… either it’s thanks to POTUS coming up for UN, or that new FAA/ATC AI-thing has gone horribly wrong. Good luck if you’re traveling in the NE today.

Some PHX news with the announcement that AA will be moving into the new West Terminal in 2033. PHX Flagship Lounge to follow? One can hope...
@samar AA really needs better lounge at PHX; the tiny upstairs AC gets so crowded, so fast. A Flagship lounge would be amazing, even though AA doesn't fly that many Flagship routes from there, other than HNL. I suppose it'd be a nice gesture for CKs.
@1990_ I'm hoping AA becoming the sole anchor in the West Terminal would lead to more long-haul routes (and much better lounges). One can dream at least...
AA does have the summer seasonal route to LHR, but yeah PHX is sorely lacking currently.
@samar Welp, AA is finally investing in Charlotte (As Ben wrote, 'will be getting a Flagship Lounge, though there's not yet a timeline'), so maybe there's eventually hope for PHX. At least an improved AC would be swell.
