I don't think that this was intentional, but you should make clear that Baccarat and PRI aren't eligible for redemption of Preferred Club points. Nor is The Brando. I found the properties that are eligible aren't very appealing in contrast to the flagship ones.
I got a couple amazing redemptions on iPrefer properties before Citi cut the transfer rate in half. The whole reason I got the card was to transfer points at a 4 to 1 rate. iPrefer separately also increased the redemption rates substantially on two of the properties I booked going forward so this was a double whammy. It's looking like I'll be one year and done with the Citi Strata Elite Card as I don't fly American very often.
