@Ben, AFAIK, Premiers will lose the ability to upgrade award tickets, so you probably want to edit your post. Also, there's no mention of the United Club one-time pass restrictions; moving forward, the primary/secondary cardholder has to be present, so you can't transfer them to other people.

I got a email that the Premier Upgrade is going away August 1st. Maybe make note of that.

I'm going to be canceling this card this year. The annual fee increase and new restrictions on the club passes just make it not worth $150 to me.

Be aware that I've experienced a situation in which Chase absolutely refused to honor the “Global Entry, TSA PreCheck, Or NEXUS Credit.”

I paid for my Global Entry fee using my United Club Card, the charge showed up on my statement and I paid for it, but Chase subsequently refused to honor the promise of a credit. I complained to United's own MileagePlus Team who supported my request, but Chase then in a written response flat-out refused to honor the request with no reason provided at all! United's own team then basically claimed that the problem was “out of their hands.”

SO, if these cards are of benefit to you otherwise, fine, but don't count on getting the promised Global Entry, TSA PreCheck, Or NEXUS credit if you use the card for same!!!!

Not making a post about this recently announced 50% annual fee increase and associated downgrades (no more premier upgrades, cardholder must be present with anyone using the one time free pass) and just running the usual card promotion post as if the $150 fee was business as usual is disappointing. I always appreciated OMAAT’s candor and willingness to criticize bad policies so to not even report on the changes makes me question the overall journalistic integrity of the site

What a joke. Spend $20,000 to get a 10k discount on award flights that have already quadrupled?! Give me a freaking break. This card offers like 10 completely USELESS credits. Ben, you're better than this.
